Questions

About punch cards and rewards.

Straight answers, including what FreshBookings doesn't do yet.

Do my customers need an app?

No. Punch cards, packages and credit are tracked on each customer's page in FreshBookings, and applied on their invoice. There's nothing for customers to download.

How do punch cards work?

You choose the services, how many visits earn a reward and what the reward is: buy X, get Y free. Cards can last for life or renew every year, and can have an optional sign-up fee.

What's the difference between a package and a punch card?

A package is paid upfront: several services, each with a set number of sessions, at one price and valid for a set number of days. A punch card rewards visits customers pay for as they go.

How does the referral program work?

Customers share their referral link. The new customer gets a discount, and the referrer earns credit. You choose both amounts, plus a monthly cap, a minimum number of visits before someone can refer, and when credit expires.

Can customers spend referral credit online?

Yes. Customers can spend their referral credit when they book online, and the credit balance shows on their page.

Can I sell memberships?

Not yet. Today you can sell prepaid packages and run punch cards, which cover many of the same needs.
