For barbers

A barber booking app that books while you're cutting.

A barber booking app for solo barbers and small shops. Clients book a cut, a barber and a lineup on your own website, get a reminder before they forget, and stop blowing up your phone. Nothing for them to download.

  • Cuts, fades and add-ons, timed right
  • Standing appointments for regulars
  • A deposit or saved card to hold the slot

AI receptionist

You're mid-fade.
Your website isn't.

While you're cutting, the AI receptionist on your website answers questions about your cuts, prices and policies, and books appointments the client confirms with a tap.

Built for barbers

Made for how
a barbershop runs.

Barbershop booking software that knows a fade isn't a trim, regulars want their slot and your phone isn't the front desk.

Cuts, fades and lineups, timed right

A 30-minute cut, a 45-minute fade, combos and add-ons like a beard lineup or hot towel. A senior barber can charge more for the same cut.

Standing appointments for regulars

Book a regular every 1 to 12 weeks, up to 26 visits at once, with clashes flagged before they're booked.

Fewer texts to your personal phone

Clients book open times on your website, and the AI receptionist answers questions at night and passes on anything it can't handle.

Reminders, then a no-show fee

Flag the clients who ghost so they must save a card to book. Reminders a day and an hour before, a deposit when they book, and a saved card that covers the no-show fee. Block the ones who keep doing it.

Know who's due for a cut

Set "come back in 21 days" on a fade. A follow-up list shows who's overdue, and clears itself when they rebook.

Commission and tips per barber

Set each barber's commission, track tips per person, and see it all in the payroll report. Sell pomade and beard oil on the invoice.

Plus rotating schedules, so you can take every other Saturday off and the booking form only offers the hours you work.

Questions

Questions barbers ask.

Straight answers, including what FreshBookings doesn't do yet.

Can clients pick their barber?

Yes. Clients pick a barber by name or choose "anyone available". A barber can stop taking new clients and still keep their regulars.

Can I set different prices and times for a cut and a fade?

Yes. Each cut has its own length and price, add-ons like a lineup or hot towel are chosen when booking, and prices and durations can differ by barber.

Can my regulars have a standing appointment?

Yes. Book a recurring appointment every 1 to 12 weeks, up to 26 visits at once, with clashes shown before they're booked.

What do you do about no-shows?
Make them pay for the slot. Ask for a deposit, a fixed amount or a % of the cut, when clients book online, and it comes off the bill. You can also ask everyone, or only the clients you flag, to save a card. Mark a no-show and the fee is filled in from your default, the deposit counts towards it, and the rest is charged to the card. Reminders go out a day and an hour before, and you can still block a client. Payments go through your own Stripe account. How deposits and no-show fees work.
Do you have a walk-in queue or a waitlist?

Not yet. FreshBookings books appointments. You can record a walk-in as a visit so it's in their history and on the invoice, and note "walk-in" as how they found you.

Do my clients need to download an app?

No. They book on your website without an account, and returning clients are recognised by their phone number. You can install FreshBookings like an app on your own phone.

Does the AI receptionist answer my phone or Instagram DMs?

No. It's a chat on your website that answers questions about your cuts, prices, hours and policies, and books appointments the client confirms with a tap. Calls and DMs still come to you.

Can I track commission and tips for my barbers?

Yes. Set commission per barber and track tips per person; the payroll report shows hours, commission and tips. FreshBookings doesn't collect booth rent or pay anyone out.

Can I do house calls?

Yes. Set the postal codes you cover, and clients outside your area are told before they book.

Do you do memberships or gift cards?

Not yet; memberships are coming soon. Punch cards like a 10th cut free, prepaid packages, coupons and referral credit work today.
