Questions

Questions studio owners ask.

Straight answers, including what FreshBookings doesn't do yet.

How many people can book each session?

You choose. Set how many bookings each hour can take, such as one per wheel or bench, and once it's full that time isn't offered.

Does it show a class timetable with spots left?

Not yet. Students pick a session and an open time, and only times with room are offered. If your studio runs on a fixed weekly timetable of different classes, FreshBookings isn't the right fit today.

Is there a waitlist for full sessions?

Not yet. When a session is full, the AI receptionist can take the person's name and number and pass it to you as a lead.

Can a parent or a group book several spots at once?

Not yet. Each booking is one spot. For birthdays and groups, the AI receptionist takes their details so you can plan it with them.

Can I sell class packs and intro offers?

Yes. Sell prepaid packs of sessions valid for the number of days you choose, punch cards such as buy five, get one free, and coupons for intro offers.

Do you handle memberships or monthly tuition?

Not yet. FreshBookings suits studios paid by the session or with packs.

Can students pay online when they book?

Deposits and a saved card for no-shows, yes; buying packs online, not yet. A deposit is a fixed amount or a % of the booking, paid by card through your own Stripe account, and it comes off their bill. Other payments are recorded against the invoice: cash, card on your own terminal, or a bank transfer or payment link. How deposits and no-show fees work.

Can students sign a waiver when they book?

Not yet. You can add required questions to the booking form, such as age or allergies, and answers are saved to the student's record.

What about no-shows?

Reminders go out a day and an hour before, and a cancellation window stops students cancelling late online. You can take a deposit when they book, kept if they cancel late or don't show, or ask flagged students, or everyone, to save a card. Mark a no-show and the no-show fee is charged to the card, with any deposit counted towards it. You can still block someone who keeps missing sessions.

Can students enrol in a multi-week course?

Not yet. Each session is booked on its own. A prepaid pack works for students who come back week after week.
